Mobility Meets Asana

For the yoga teachers who want to integrate mobility and movement science into their teaching

(without losing the magic that made yoga asana matter to them in the first place)

Mobility Meets Asana is a 50 hour is a online course and on-demand immersion experience that feels like you’re right there learning in the room with us. This is a continuing education course rooted in functional mobility, movement science, and how to actually use both without losing the soul of your teaching.

I firmly believe that you can teach a class with all the depth, reverence, and cultural context it deserves AND offer a physical postural practice that includes intelligent mobility measures on the mat.

Those things aren’t in conflict (even though sometimes it might seem daunting!) They just take a little extra know-how to get there.

The goal is practice that actually progresses you - instead of just slapping more, faster, louder, sweatier, chaturanga-ier on everything. We’re working towards a multidisciplinary knowledge base that builds confidence, competence and real-deal student application to make it all make sense.

This is the course I wish I'd had when I was a younger teacher would have been one that stopped acting like the science and the soul of yoga were on opposing teams. They are not. They have always been able to coexist in thoughtful hands and with an intentional lens. Coming from someone who has been deep in both worlds for fifteen years, who teaches yoga asana as her first love and mobility as her second, this is the course I’ve loved teaching to curious teachers and dedicated practioners.

You've taught yoga for a while. You love it. You're good at it. AND you've started to notice things you can't unsee.

  • Long-term students hitting an adaptation ceiling. Same limitations stepping forward during sun salutations. Forever frustrations trying to get into Crow pose. Practicing tons, but not progressing.

  • A growing pile of strength training books, mobility podcasts, and FRC content saved but… what do you actually DO with it? How do you actually use it?

  • Discomfort with the hybrid yoga industry boom. You know this stuff matters but you don't want to teach Yoga Sculpt. You don't want to frankenstein methods together. You don't want to lose what made you fall in love with this practice.

  • The hesitation that comes from caring deeply about lineage and cultural context, and not being sure how to integrate without diluting either method.

  • Students with hypermobility, range of motion limitations, and complex movement histories that you genuinely want to support, and a very real awareness that your training didn't really prepare you for any of it.

If any of that sounds familiar, then good news:‍ ‍this course was made just for you.

Integrating mobility into yoga asana isn't:

burpees in your vinyasa

ankle weights in pigeon

a mid-class strength block that confuses everyone

just adding more stretching all over the place

pretending your class is something it's not

But it is:

closing specific, predictable gaps with specific, intelligent tools

in a way that fits the architecture of the class you're already teaching

with full reverence for the lineages you came up in

applying the right techniques in the right moments

clear understanding of why you're doing what you're doing

Mobility Meets Asana Includes:

  • 50 hours of on-demand video instruction, lessons, breakdowns, practices

  • Immersive classroom video, group discussions and real student questions

  • 8 modules, 150+ individual lessons

  • 10+ downloadable resources (cheat sheets, glossaries, programming guides)

  • Course Lifetime access (take it at your own pace and return anytime)

  • Fully CE-eligible for Yoga Alliance CEU hours with Carling Harps

  • Stackable toward your 300-hour Advanced Certification with Moved.School

Mini Sneak Peek:

MODULE 1 : THE WHY

What is Mobility (and Why Does It Matter?)

We start with the philosophical and practical foundations, because you can't teach this work convincingly until you actually believe in it. and you probably won’t do it consistently unless you decided you truly care.

  • The history of flexibility vs. mobility, and where yoga and functional training intersect (and where they don't)

  • How much mobility your students actually need (more is not always more, contrary to a lot of yoga speak we’re all used to)

  • The mobility-healthspan connection: longevity research, the Brazilian Sit-to-Stand study, and why this work matters far beyond the mat, and way past what you can do today.

  • The Goldilocks zone of range of motion (when more helps and when it actively harms)
